how to buy memecoins using phantom + dexscreener

  1. set up your phantom wallet

    • download the phantom wallet app or browser extension. if you don’t have one, create an account.

    • buy solana (sol) directly in the phantom app or transfer sol from an exchange like coinbase or binance.

  2. find the coin on dexscreener

    • go to dexscreener.com and search for the memecoin you’re trying to buy.

    • make sure it’s the right one (always double-check the details to avoid scams).

  3. copy the token address

    • on the coin’s dexscreener page, grab the contract address (you’ll see a clipboard/copy icon at the top right, on mobile)

    • copy it

  4. swap on phantom

    • open phantom, go to the swap tab, and paste the token address in the “select token” field.

    • choose how much sol you want to swap for the memecoin.

  5. confirm the transaction

    • double-check everything (token name, address, and amount).

    • hit swap, approve it, and boom—you’re done. the tokens should show up in your wallet.
